Maheder is greatly interested in photography education in Ethiopia. She founded CPE– Center for Photography in Ethiopia, a platform for training, discussion, collaboration and conversation for emerging Ethiopian photographers. Since its starting point in 2017, four workshops, a mentorship program, exhibitions, installations and presentations both within and outside of Ethiopia has been delivered under Maheder's coordination, design or guidance.
